Dear all, we will be having the POC dinner on the 13th August 2009, Thursday. Sec 1s, this dinner is like a farewell dinner for the Sec 4s and it is sort of a tradition to eat at Swensen's at Plaza Singapura every year. So yeahs, take note that the dinner is NOT complusory for you to attend but of course, it would really be good if you turn up and this is like a personal decision that lies with you ultimately, yeahs. I understand that we all still have school on the next day and it might be very inconvenient of you to go for the dinner on a Thursday night but do try to persuade your parents that you can only need to stay to eat dinner together as an unit and you do not need to stay back after the dinner. The timing will be about from 7p.m.- 10p.m.. POC I/C of each level, get your level's response by Wednesday and tell me who is able to go, who is not and why. And do remind you levelmates to check their emails.

To those who are involved in NDP, below is the revised schedule for the NDP trainings for the next week, due to the fact that the Sec 3s have 4-5 tests in that week, thus we hope to have your kind understanding. Thank you.

Tuesday: 2.00 p.m. to 3.00 p.m.
Wednesday: CANCELLED
Thursday: Red Cross meeting (Bring your boots and croc socks please.)
Friday: 2.00 p.m. to 4.30 p.m.

That's about it. One more thing, anyone who REALLY CANNOT go for any of the trainings for the next week, please tell me ASAP. And be sure to have a VALID REASON. Please learn some responsibility.

Also, there will be an OFFICIAL Red Cross meeting on the coming Thursday 23rd July from 2.15p.m. to 6p.m.. Details will be put up on the board soon.

Hey all, POC will be on the 6th of August. We will also be having a Promotion Ceremony on that day so prepare your uniforms well. Oh and as 7th August is the school's NDP celebration, so that means you will have to 'recycle' your uniforms to wear as we all need to be in full Red Cross uniforms on that day too. Last but not least, Sec 1s, please do not post anything about POC on your blogs because you won't want the NCOs to read it and spoil the surprise right? So please exercise caution on your blogs.

Also, please learn up the POC unit song (refer to your emails) and your own POC level song by 6th August. We might have an informal meeting on perhaps 5th August to practise the unit song together as an unit. POC I/Cs, what day are you both free? I want to meet you two to discuss some stuff.

Hey all, for the $25 right, my level will only be collecting it on the next official Red Cross meeting. And take note that there will be NO Red Cross meeting for the coming Thursday 9th July due to the MOE's decision. The following are the training days for the NDP 2009 Marching Contingent
Every WEDNESDAY: 2.30 p.m. - 3.30 p.m.
Every THURSDAY: (training hours included in weekly meetings)

Please be informed that Red Cross is also involved in performing the fancy drill this year (which means we will have to do a formation).
The people who are involved in the marching contingent will also be involved in this event.

Every FRIDAY: 2.30 p.m. - 4.00 p.m.

Please note that:
- Trainings will commence on THURSDAY, 9 July. More details will be put up soon.
- For the first 2 weeks of training, ALL who are involved in this event are to come for trainings on TUESDAY, WEDNESDAY, THURSDAY and FRIDAY. This is to ensure mastery of the footdrill commands.
- Cadets are not to skip trainings unless they have valid reasons in doing so. In the event of such situations, please tell us at least 2 days beforehand.
