Hey I have uploaded the following so as to show you all a clearer view of how your beret should be done. I apologise for the seeming-illegible writing. If you have any queries, do tag in the tagboard here and I will try to get back to you asap. Thanks!

Seasoning your beret:

2)

3)

Cape badge:

As for the 'pigtails' at the back:

Your beret should look something like this...

To all:

Please take Red cross seriously. It is not your hobby where you can come and go as you please. Neither is it something you can just dump when you get tired of it. Since its your CCA, you have to stick with it and do your best for it.

Don't just think of yourself. You're not the only ones suffering.

Hey, just for some clarification.

For boots, the Sec 3s would be showing you how to polish them during our meeting this coming Wednesday.
You all are not required to use white polish if you are able to shine your boots using just black polish.
However, if you are a perfectionist and insist that your boots must shine like mirrors, then you are allowed to use white polish as the first coating then use your black polish.
But, if you are unclear about how to polish your boots, please, please, do not anyhow polish your boots because once you polish wrongly, your boots will be spoilt and it is very difficult to make them shine again.

As for your uniforms, you all will be taught how to iron them properly this Wednesday. However, if you are feeling very paranoid now, here are some essentials.
DO NOT sew on your buttons or do anything funny to your uniforms.
You all will be given button rings and we will teach you how to put on your buttons.
Additionally, ensure that your collar is ironed straight down, which I believe Linda has already noted somewhere in the document she sent you.
As for your pleats, they can be a bit tricky to iron for the first time.
However, I trust that you guys can do your pleats properly, as long as you put in your utmost efforts, time and energy.
Make sure that your pleats are not too big or small or you will have problem putting on your belt later on.
And, if your uniform is too big or small for you, please go and get it altered.
The acceptable length of the uniform will be about 1 inch below your knees to your knees. If you are altering your uniform, make sure that you use white thread and not some other colour.

Lastly, your beret.
The right way to season it should be sent to you already.
Just remember to place your beret under your television or bed and NOT like under some heavy dictionaries or whatsoever because only your television or bed is heavy enough to season your beret properly.
Do follow that advice given to you if you really want to look smart and nice in your uniform.

Ok, for any further queries or doubts, do tag in the tagboard here. Or, you can ask any Sec 2 or Sec 3 when you see them in school. An important point to note, please remember that though this is only a blog, however, this is actually a way of the Sec 3s communicating to you all. Thus, continue to show respect even when you are just tagging here and such a way would be tagging in your real names and not some short forms or nicknames. By doing that, you are also sparing your seniors the need to check up who you are.

Thanks.

Regards,
Wen Qian.
